The Space Between Who You Were and Who You Are Becoming

Hey love,

Lately I’ve been sitting with a quiet realisation
not everything that feels uncertain is a problem to solve

Some phases of life are not meant to be fixed
they are meant to be lived through

There are moments where things feel blurred
where direction softens
where the version of you that once felt clear… no longer quite fits

And the instinct is often to rush
to find clarity
to “get back on track”

But what if you are not off track at all

What if this space you are in
this in between, this shedding, this subtle discomfort
is actually part of a deeper reorganisation

In yoga and Ayurveda, we speak about cycles all the time
creation, maintenance, dissolution

We celebrate the beginning
we cling to what feels stable
but we rarely honour the dissolving

And yet, it is dissolution that creates space
for something more aligned to emerge

I’ve noticed in my own life that every time I’ve tried to grip tightly
to who I thought I should be
I felt contracted, tired, slightly out of rhythm

And every time I allowed something to fall away
even when I didn’t know what would come next
there was a quiet expansion

Not dramatic
not instant
but real

There is a kind of intelligence moving through your life
one that doesn’t always follow your timelines
or your plans

But it is not random

It is responsive
it listens
it adjusts

Sometimes what feels like a pause
is actually integration

Sometimes what feels like loss
is refinement

Sometimes what feels like confusion
is simply the old lens no longer working

So if things feel unclear right now
if you are in a space where you can’t quite define what is next

Take a breath

You are not behind
you are not late
you are not missing something

You are in process

And this part matters just as much as the moments where everything makes sense

Maybe instead of asking
“What should I do next?”

you gently ask
“What is naturally falling away?”
“What is asking for more space?”

and
“What feels quietly true, even if I don’t fully understand it yet?”

Let life meet you there

Let things unfold without forcing them into shape too soon

There is a rhythm that is yours
not rushed
not delayed
just… yours

Trust the timing of your life

With love
Margherita 🤍
