Terms, Conditions & Cancellation Policy

By attending a class, workshop, or retreat with Margherita Dal Pra, you agree to the terms and conditions listed below.

  • Drop-in Classes

    • Available subject to space. Please arrive on time—no entry after 5 minutes into the class.

    Muswell Hill Class Passes

    • Non-transferable between clients.

    • No refunds once purchased.

    Yoga Centres Bookings

    • Refer to Centre’s own terms and conditions.

  • All Zoom classes require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellation. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as non attendance or no shows, are non refundable and cannot be credited or rescheduled.

    For all live and recorded Zoom classes, participants are responsible for ensuring that they are medically fit to take part. It is advised that you seek appropriate medical guidance before participating, particularly if you are pregnant, recovering from injury or surgery, or managing a medical condition. By choosing to attend, you confirm that you are participating at your own risk and will modify or rest as needed throughout the class.

  • Cancellations

    • 48 hours’ notice required.

    • Cancellations within 48 hours will be fully charged.

    Payments

    • Pay by cash, bank transfer, or PayPal before the session.

    Coaching & Cleanse Programmes

    • Paid in advance. No refunds once digital material has been sent.

    • If you’ve had major emotional or physical illness in the past 5 years, you must disclose it and may be asked for a doctor’s certificate.

    • For severe allergies, please email in advance. A separate disclaimer may be required.

Classes, Workshops and One to Ones

Retreats

  • Please read these terms carefully before booking. By reserving your place on a retreat, you confirm that you have read and accepted this cancellation policy.

    Deposits and Payments

    A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required to secure your place on the retreat.

    The remaining balance is due 90 days before the retreat begins. All payments must be made in pounds sterling.

    Retreat costs and commitments are made well in advance, and a great deal of planning takes place before we travel. This includes organising the programme and thoughtfully designing the yoga practices to suit the individual participants and create the best possible experience for the group...

    Cancellations made by you

    We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise and will always try to help where reasonably possible. However, the following cancellation terms apply:

    • More than 90 days before the retreat: You will receive a full refund of the amount paid, minus the non-refundable deposit.

    • Between 30 and 90 days before the retreat: Payments are non-refundable. If your place is successfully filled by another participant, we may offer the amount paid, minus the deposit and applicable administration fee, as credit towards a future retreat or event.

    • Less than 30 days before the retreat: Payments are not eligible for a refund or credit.

    All cancellations must be made in writing by email or through the website contact form.

    Adminisration fees

    Where a refund or credit is offered at our discretion, the following administration fee will apply:

    • £60 for weekend retreats

    • £100 for retreats lasting more than three days

    Travel insurance

    You must take out comprehensive travel insurance as soon as you book, rather than waiting until shortly before travelling.

    Your policy should include cancellation cover so that, if illness or another unexpected circumstance prevents you from attending, you may be able to recover your losses through your insurer. Please also ensure that your policy provides suitable medical and travel cover for your destination and planned activities.

    If we cancel the retreat

    Each retreat requires a minimum number of participants to go ahead. We reserve the right to cancel a retreat up to 30 days before its start date if the minimum number of participants has not been reached.

    Margherita has been teaching regular retreats since 2005 and to date has never had to cancel a retreat (with the exception of covid 19).  However in the very unlikely event that she is unable to teach a retreat at short notice, for example due to but not limited to severe illness or bereavement, Margherita reserves the right to find a replacement teacher. In this situation no refunds will be issued.  If no replacement teacher can be arranged and the retreat is cancelled any deposits will be refunded to you in full. 

    If we cancel a retreat for any reason within our control, you will receive a full refund of all payments made directly to us.

    We cannot accept responsibility for flights, transfers, accommodation or any other personal expenses incurred in connection with the retreat. For this reason, we strongly recommend booking flexible or refundable travel arrangements and having appropriate travel insurance in place from the time of booking.

    • Deposit only required if booking more than 90 days in advance.

    • Full payment required within 90 days of the retreat.

    • All payments must be made in GBP. If paying from abroad, you are responsible for bank fees.

  • Travel insurance is a condition of booking and must be arranged at the time of reservation.

    Your policy should include cover for:

    • Retreat cancellation for any reason, including Covid
    • Flight delays or cancellations
    • Lost or delayed baggage
    • Medical treatment, injury, and repatriation

    Please note that Margherita cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond her control, including:

    • Natural disasters, war, or pandemics
    • Personal emergencies or illness
    • Loss or damage to personal belongings

    As our cancellation policy is firm, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment. Providers such as InsureMyTrip offer a range of policies, including “cancel for any reason” options, and there are many other companies offering similar cover.

    In most cases, travel insurance must be purchased at the same time as booking the retreat.

    • Shared room rates apply only when fully occupied.

    • We’ll match you with a same-gender roommate when possible.

    • If the room can’t be filled, you’ll need to pay a single supplement before the retreat.
