Yoga Retreats with Margherita Dal Pra
We travel not to escape life but for life not to escape us
That’s how I feel about retreat. It’s not about running away, it’s about creating space to remember what matters. To be in your body, in your breath, in rhythm with the land and the season. A place where time stretches, the nervous system softens, and you begin to hear yourself again.
I create these retreats as spaces of presence, beauty, and deep restoration, where we move with intention, eat with reverence, and rest without guilt. Where you can show up exactly as you are, and be met with warmth, quiet, and community.
Why join?
-
• A Sacred Pause •
These retreats go beyond asana. Each day we weave together movement, breath, mantra, meditation, and self-inquiry. Practices that meet you where you are and support you on every level: physical, emotional, energetic.
-
• Rooted in Ayurveda •
From the rhythms of the day to the food we share, everything is infused with Ayurvedic wisdom. Seasonal meals, daily routines, and the overall flow of the retreat are designed to bring balance so you leave feeling nourished, steady, and more yourself.
-
• Connection •
These retreats are intentionally intimate, warm, and welcoming. You’ll have time to rest, explore, or do absolutely nothing as well as moments to connect, reflect, and feel held in community.
I offer a collection of annual retreats in locations worldwide that I have returned to for many years, each shaped with care and intention. These spaces weave together movement, rest, wholesome food and the simple joy of being held by a beautiful place. Explore the retreats below to find the one that speaks to you.

Isle of Wight, UK | 30 October - 2 November 2026
Autumn invites us to slow down.
To land.
To come back to what really matters.
Set in the quiet beauty of the Isle of Wight, this retreat is an invitation to return to yourself through nature, rhythm, and rest. Coastal walks, open skies, the scent of the sea, and the gentle turning of the season all around you.
We’ll stay in a cosy, thoughtfully held space close to the sea, where comfort is simple and intentional. Warm meals, soft light, and a pace that allows you to truly settle.
Morning practices to ground and strengthen.
Evenings to soften, restore, and be held.
In between, time to walk, journal, rest, or simply watch the changing light across the landscape.
This is not about escaping life.
It’s about coming back to it, more rooted, more steady, more you.
A quieter kind of luxury.
One that nourishes the nervous system, steadies the body, and reconnects you to the earth beneath your feet.
Re-Awaken
Sicily, Italy | 24 April - 1 May 2027
Spring is one of the most beautiful times to experience Sicily. The days are longer, the countryside is in bloom, and the temperatures are perfect for enjoying both the coast and the island's rich cultural heritage.
Our retreat offers the ideal balance between deep rest, inspiring yoga, and the freedom to explore. Nestled in the heart of southeastern Sicily, we'll be surrounded by golden beaches, crystal-clear waters, rolling countryside, and the timeless beauty of Sicily's Baroque towns, many of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Between our energising morning practices and deeply nourishing evening sessions, you'll have plenty of time to make the week your own. Wander through charming villages, swim in the Mediterranean, discover local markets and artisan shops, enjoy Sicily's extraordinary cuisine, or simply stay by the pool with a good book or a relaxing massage.
We'll also share memorable meals together, celebrating the warmth of Sicilian hospitality and the island's vibrant flavours, with opportunities to enjoy wonderful local restaurants and authentic agriturismi.
Whether you're craving adventure, connection, or simply space to breathe again, this retreat invites you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and experience the magic of Sicily in springtime.

This retreat offers gentle movement for the body, deep rest for the mind, and space to simply be, creating the conditions to reconnect with yourself and return to a sense of clarity, softness, and wholeness.
We begin our time together in the peaceful countryside of Puglia, surrounded by ancient olive groves, warm earth, and open skies. Our home is a beautiful rural sanctuary with a pool, where days unfold slowly between practice, rest, and long, nourishing meals made with fresh, local ingredients.
There is space here to read, to wander, to lie in the sun, or simply do nothing at all.
Midway through the retreat, we take a gentle excursion to the sea, soaking in the beauty of the Adriatic coastline, before returning to our quiet haven for deeper rest and integration.

Re-Align
Lefkada, Greece | Autumn 2028
There is a lightness to Lefkada… a kind of natural elegance that doesn’t try too hard.
Cliffs that fall into impossibly blue water, soft evening light, the scent of herbs in the warm air. It’s beautiful, but in a way that feels effortless, grounding, and real.
We’ll stay in a secluded villa overlooking the Ionian Sea, where comfort meets simplicity. Thoughtfully designed spaces, nourishing meals, and a rhythm that allows you to truly exhale.
Morning practices to bring you back into your body.
Evenings to soften, release, and let the day settle.
In between, time opens up…
for slow swims, quiet moments, shared meals, and gentle exploration.
This is not five star luxury in the traditional sense.
It’s something deeper.
Space. Care. Beauty. Connection.
A kind of luxury that you can actually feel.
A return to alignment, not only in the body, but in the way you live, move, and breathe.
Each retreat is unique, some long and immersive, others short and spacious but all are held with deep care, and rooted in the rhythms of Ayurveda.
The Practices
The yoga is at the heart of every retreat, with spacious morning practices to awaken the body, build strength and explore more deeply, and quieter afternoon or evening sessions to soften, restore and integrate.
My teaching is rooted in Anusara Yoga, with its intelligent approach to alignment and heart centred philosophy, and enriched by Hatha Yoga, Tantra, breathwork, meditation and restorative practices.
Each session responds to the group and to the rhythm of the retreat itself. Some practices will be strong and expansive, others slow and deeply nourishing. You will always be encouraged to listen to your own body, with variations offered so that you can practise in a way that feels right for you.
You do not need to be an experienced yogi to come on retreat with me. What matters is simply a willingness to arrive, explore and be present.
The Food
Health and nourishment are a gentle thread woven through my retreats. The way we eat, move, rest, and share time together is guided by seasonal wisdom, simplicity, and care. Rather than following strict rules or prescriptive approaches, the emphasis is on food that is wholesome, delicious, and prepared with attention to balance and flavour. Daily rhythms are unhurried and spacious, honouring natural cycles and allowing time to settle, digest, and listen inward. This creates a supportive backdrop for the retreat experience, inviting reconnection, vitality, and a deeper sense of wellbeing.
I have been teaching yoga for over 25 years and leading retreats for much of that time. My teaching is rooted in Hatha Yoga and Tantra, with Anusara Yoga at the heart of my approach, bringing together intelligent movement, breath, meditation, philosophy and restorative practices.
For me, a retreat is about much more than the time we spend on the mat. I create each one with care so that the practice, the place, the food and the rhythm of the days work together, giving you the space to rest deeply, reconnect with yourself and return home feeling renewed.
My retreats are warm, personal and intentionally intimate. Whether you come alone or with a friend, you are welcomed exactly as you are.
