Hi, I’m Margherita and I am here to support you on your journey of self-discovery, through yoga, ayurveda, nutrition and self-development.

I teach weekly yoga classes in London (at The Life Centre and Muswell Hill) and hold retreats in Italy, Spain, India, and Bali. I also offer one-to-one sessions for those wanting more tailored guidance.

As a natural seeker, 30 years ago in Italy I found myself at my first yoga class, back in a time when yoga was considered strange, yet savasana and the mantra OM gave me a deep sense of relaxation and the feeling of coming home to myself. This is when yoga became the beginning of a life long journey for me.

I am devoted to continuously learning, sharing and radiating this knowledge for everyone to utilise and enjoy. The more I explore and learn, the more I’m able to share my wisdom in a new and vibrant light, it is a true blessing and honour to share that journey with my students.

A Rich Lineage

My teachings are rooted in the traditional lineage of Hatha Yoga and the rich philosophy of Tantra, woven together with the fluidity of Vinyasa Flow, the precision of Anusara, the expressive heart of Rasa Yoga, and the energetic depth of ParaYoga. I honour these traditions while inviting each student to awaken their fullest potential, grounded in ancient wisdom, yet alive and responsive to modern life.

In my classes, I aim to guide students beyond the physical form and into the heart. Through an intentional weaving of asana, mantra, mudra, pranayama, meditation, and chanting—alongside shadow work, ritual, and a deep reverence for nature, I hold space for transformation and connection.

My own practice continues to be a wellspring of insight. It has led me into the healing power of Ayurveda, the Science of Life, which I share in a way that feels accessible, embodied, and real. I believe the rituals of yoga and the wisdom of Ayurveda can be integrated into daily life with simplicity, empowering you to meet yourself and the world with clarity, vitality, and courage.

Based in North London, I’m a senior teacher at The Life Centre and offer private sessions from my home studio, as well as co-teaching at Friends Meeting House in Muswell Hill. Since 2008, I’ve mentored and trained yoga teachers through Yogacampus, and remain a committed student myself, continuing my studies with Sianna Sherman, founder of Rasa Yoga, and with Yogarupa Rod Stryker, founder of ParaYoga, with whom I’ve studied since 2003.

I am fully insured, an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance (US), and a registered Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (UK).

  • “For years I had tried various diets in order to improve digestion and shed some weight. There was some results but never long lasting. Margherita introduced me gently to Ayurvedic diet and for the first time in my life, I have soon observed tangible and  lasting effects within a few weeks. The meals and recipes suggested by Margherita are easy to make and leave me feeling satisfied and nourished .  Overall, I feel better in my body and more energised. Margherita is a well of experiential knowledge and her approach is gentle and compassionate. I felt supported all the way through. ”
