Autumn Radiance Pumpkin Latte

As the air turns crisp and the days grow shorter, I find myself drawn to the golden glow of autumn — to everything soothing, spiced, and soul-warming.

(And for my sun-kissed sisters in the southern hemisphere, I see you sipping this iced, in your summer glow!)

This Ayurveda-inspired pumpkin latte is a hug in a cup, nourishing for body and spirit. With grounding pumpkin, gentle warming spices, and a hint of sweetness, it kindles your inner fire while keeping you steady and serene through the change of season.

Pumpkin Latte

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk of your choice (almond, oat, or dairy)

  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin purée (or roasted pumpkin)

  • 1 teaspoon ghee or coconut oil

  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon ginger powder

  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric

  • A pinch of nutmeg

  • A pinch of black pepper

  • Optional: ½ teaspoon ashwagandha powder and a touch of maple syrup or a soaked date for sweetness

Directions

  • Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.

  • Warm gently in a small pan over low heat — don’t boil.

  • Pour into your favourite mug, breathe in the aroma, and sip slowly.

Ayurvedic Tips

  • Vata: Perfect just as it is — soothing and grounding.

  • Pitta: Go easy on the ginger, pepper, and turmeric.

  • Kapha: Use half water, less pumpkin, and skip the sweetener.
